Our home is 4 years old. Recently, the insubstantial in our den have been flickering. We thought it be the bulb and ignored the problem. Suddenly, we enjoy no power to any outlet or light within the office and surrounding nouns. We checked the breakers, but no breaker tripped. I flipped each breaker individually to reset them freshly in skin. However, we still do not have power. Does anyone enjoy an idea what our problem could be?

I also agree next to deb. Use a voltmeter and check all plugs. Also check the breakers near the tester, and make sure you hold voltage at each one. You will most plausible find a loose connection down a outlet. Check and see if the wires a back stabbed on the outlets are if the screw that holds the wires are loose. Be Very Carefull working next to electricity it will bite you.
This is where on earth you need to ring a qualified professional electrician. One of 3 or 4 things has happen, the problem is finding it. To DIY you will need a voltage tester that works by contact near a hot wire, not an inductive tester or a digital meter.
1. Start at the power panel and inspect for any broken wires contained by the panel. This is not easy to do and the panel is hot.
2. Test the voltage from the output of respectively 120 volt breaker to the neutral.
3. After adjectives circuits are verified, the next step is to verify the voltage at the bureau outlets.
4. Test the voltage at the light switch and the receptacle This should locate the dead spot surrounded by the circuit.
I suspect that either a broken line or a faulty breaker is the problem.
Answers: I agree beside debstuf - a loose connection somewhere. Possibly surrounded by the breaker box, but most likely at one of the outlets. Check adjectives the outlets that are not working right immediately, then check the switches to adjectives the lights that are not working - for loose connections.
