circuit mcb allowances for diversity
1 immersion furnace b16 100%
2 downstairs lighting b6 66%
3 upstairs lighting b6 66%
4 shower b40 100%
5 downstairs radial b20 ?

7 smoke alarm b6 ?
8 central heat b6 ?
the supply fuse is 100A
my calculations lug me over that..please help

Answers: what you are going on for my friend is a thing call diversity.
so in directive.
1. if your imersion heater is 3kw consequently it is deemed that you are going to use adjectives 3kw.(3000watts)
2. you will never have adjectives your lights on so 66% of 6amp (1440 watts) so that will be 950watts
3same
4. 8.5kw shower? then thats 35.4 amps
5. will be your cooker, that will never be 100% usage and in need going through my osg i cant remember the diversity factor. but at a guess 3500watts (15amp)
6 32 amps 7680watts total permissable load, but will never be anywhere that close unless you hold a few fan heaters contained by each room.
7 minimal nouns.. nowhere near the 6 amps (neglegable)
8. will be in the order of 300watts for a pump,
so my calculations produce that all just about 60 amps total load.
this is enormously rough but I hope it gives you an thought, and thanks for making my brain sting at this time of night ;-)
