I have just bought a 10 year frail townhouse and i am haveing some electrical issues , my dryer has blown 2 relays and i have blown abundant light bulbs so far , now my outside outlet is inoperative , i suspect dirty power or a bad ground , what should i do , what troubleshooting can i do myself ?
I think I would be contacting the previous owner or the realtor that sold it to you. Don't you have some sort of warranty? Sometihing does not nouns right. May even be power surges. Call a licensed electrician ,some things are best left to pros.electrical problems can lead to fires and can be deadly and the solutions can't be guessed.
The with the sole purpose real proper answer is to have a professional look at it. It will one and only take a little while to check the amperage on a circuit and check the crucial grounds and the neutrals. Larger shops will have equipment that can record the incoming voltage level and can tell if you are getting voltage spikes or over-current conditions that will blow circuits.

good luck beside it.
Answers:    i would have to articulate that its the dryer that is causing the majority of your problems...
Are some light brighter and some dimmer? You may have an sympathetic neutral. well you would hold to call an eleteric people or inless some family unit could fix it but it would be some tough stuff
