Yesterday one of my kitchen lights (a recessed one) was humming. We figure the bulb was more or less to burn out, so we just turned the lighting off to switch out the bulb subsequent. This morning, I walked former the electrical box in the laundry room and it too be humming. Any help/ideas?
Answers: When you say "electrical box contained by the laundry room" do you mean the breaker box/load center?
It could be a dignified draw item like an electric furnace will exact the breaker that it is on to hum.
Some electronic devices can actually wreak some noise. If it is the breaker box humming try to isolate which breaker is humming and flip it past its sell-by date. Then go around the house and see what is on that circuit.
Is that frothy in the kitchen a compact fluorescent?
Really, what tune be it humming?
