does anybody know how to flush mount and secure a masonry box into an existing brick wall?
Answers:    Sure dance to your local supply house and pick up a cut in box next to adjustable ears( everyone calls them something different so relay the clerk what you want to do. Once you get the proper box, preferably plastic sap the wall were you want the outlet, stay away from the center, or ends of the block, your looking to hit the hollow nouns of the block. Once you have it well-defined get your Mason drill bit and a suitable drill motor and start drilling a series of holes along the lines you have drawn. Once you enjoy drilled all the holes you can on the lines help yourself to a small Mason chisel and chisel everything out and try your box, keep going until it fits.
Please grasp a Gfci receptacle when you buy your box. Its the best and safest receptacle to place outside. You can also buy a weather proof cover to fit your box while your at the supplier.
I hope this works for you, if it doesn't for some reason, go and get the box set and caulk around the area beside cement caulking that matches the block and glue it in at alike time.
I would saw cut the brick and chip out with a roto-hammer. Is this for a single receptacle? If so, use a Handy Box, I don`t know a shallow one. Once the box is flush use wedge anchors to out of harm`s way box.
