Electric Water Heater keep tripping? Plumber replaced the t-stats and elements and the same time it tripped...
Plumber replaced the t-stats and elements and the same time it tripped again. The Plumber came out again and replaced one and the same things again. Now the Plumber has told the Landlord that it is my knock because I turned the t-stats all the opening up. I didn't touch the darn thing but to reset it for hot marine. What could be happening? Help, I be aware of like I am within the Twilight Zone. The Landlord is charging me for the service call. Since the concluding service call I hold had no more problems.
Answers: More than predictable it seems your plumber could not find the problem so he replaced everything (which most of the parts you probably didn't need) Hes whats specified as a parts changer! If all have been replaced, the unusual upper and lower thermostats(when replaced) MUST sit tightly against tank surface, otherwise they won't sense warmth correctly and blow circuit brker. Temps should be set as follows: Upper 130 Lower 130. Any hotter than that can burn you. One more thing is engineer sure your circuit breaker is not too old or dilapidated from tripping, which will weaken itself.
