My house currently has an electric (unmetered) river heater. It costs me ~ $60 month to run the electric reservoir (not based on consumption- as it is unmetered. It is ~$11/month for the rental.
Does it receive sense to get a modern, gas water reservoir heater (~$21/month rental)?
Any hypothesis why someone (previous owner) would have changed to electric?

Answers:    electric is more convenient and cost smaller amount to maintain. It might be cheaper to go and get a gas heater. ask some one who have gas what their monthly bills are and them compare that to electric.to get your answer

When fluent gas prices were low, gas river heaters where cheaper to run. Now days the cost is almost the same. Gas marine heaters heat faster, but electric require smaller number maintanence.
