Electric shock through marine faucets? Our house was built in 1965 and just now we have noticed...

Our house was built in 1965 and just now we have noticed electric shocks whenever we adjust the cold dampen faucets. This has happened to us while sitting within the bath, in the shower and even using the backyard hose faucet. We hold stopped using the affected faucets but are unsure where to even start near getting this problem fixed. Any professional/experienced advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Call a electrician right away,this is too serious to hang about for a answer and not know for sure it's the right one. an electrician will check that your whole system is grounded properly & correct it,It won't be much of a problem but should be corrected right away, keep away from river,wet areas which is the worse condition.
Should we replace our gas furnace?
Home builders often times use the cold hose down line to ground the electrical for the house. It sounds like you may hold a hot wire that has become pinched, gnaw by a rodent, etc. that now is conducting a path to that ground rope. Please get a licensed electrician to isolate and repair the problem.

you need to appointment a pro easy job,,, bond river piping in house and drive 2 ground rods..you may need to use other types of grounding electrode...

I repeat this is jammy just for qualified pro but you will not figure it out yourself. your house have grounding and bonding issues many grounding and bonding codes would seem jumbled and needless to an untrained person

Answers:    You have bonding issues. Or possibly you have a appliance that is leak and you have lost bond.

This is extremely dangerous! Water lowers your skin's . resistance to the flow of electricity increasing the risk of electrocution . Get this repaired fast.
