Help. I moved into a new house 2 months ago and this is driving me crazy. I own a 2 story house with one AC element. There is a control up and down. I have set it within as much combinations as I can and it doesnt ever cycle right. When it turns off it immediatly comes vertebrae on. It is never set under 75 but it other reads lower on the digital control. the ac man said it be dual zone and to set the 2 differently. lower up as needed or vice versa. Please tell me how to work this. I cant find a guide anywhere!! Scared of high electric bill!
Answers: usually the instaler will make tracks the instructions on top of the upper air handler/ furnce in the attic generaly you set the upstairs lower than the downstairs bake rises if its 2 months old they should warranty it ring them up tell the company that installed it to set it the opening you want
its a thermostat. you set it for what temp you want it at.
If they both need to run, they run seperately. different zone...
