i eliminated a door and hold the second coat of mud on and will be sanding soon. how will i know when it will be without a flaw sanded and equipped to prime and paint?
Answers:    Sometimes you may need to sand and "spot mud" where on earth it may be slightly imperfect. Sanding is totally important when it comes to drywall....don't purloin too much out or your waisting your time. The best thing you can do is use your mitt and rub it on the mudded joints to grain for any lumps or bumps or dips and dives. If you feel any...someimes sand more is BAD...instead "spot mud" a thin coat over it and spread it out further. Sometimes when it seem questionable and my brain loses its ability to regard as being it...I use a flashlight and shine it up or across the wall to see and dips...it seems silly but it make the job alot easier. And I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to those things.

What kinda of mud are you using too make a difference...do not use the powder kind if your an amateur...it can be exceptionally dificult to work with. The blue lid mud is best for final coats and spot mudding...the green lid will work...but sand hard and doesn't smooth as evenly next to a knife.
Put adequate joint compound on to covering the seams where on earth the tape is. When you sand it flush, or spine it, and can no longer see the seams, you can paint.
