Dryer hookup? I just sold my dryer to a friend who have the old...

I just sold my dryer to a friend who have the old 3 prong dryer outlet but my dryer is the 4 prong plug....is here a plug or something you can put over the 3 prong outlet to make it a 4 prong outlet lacking having to redeploy the outlet all together? (For example: within a normal outlet, one you would plug a vaccum cleaner into, in attendance is a plug you can put over the 2 prong outlet to make it a 3 prong....is nearby something like that?
