Answers:    The silver hose connects to the exhaust hole on the dryer. Then run the hose to the outside of the home. You should enjoy an exhaust fitting on the outside wall so critters don't enter the house.

You should have two substantial clamps to hold the hose on the dryer and the vent. Connect the hose, tighten the clamps with a screw driver and your primed to dry clothes.
