I have kenmore 80 series. it started near the door it would keep running when you open the door.now it is heat but the drum won turn. any help would be greatful.
Answers: That belt probably is gone. It is a pretty smooth fix. The front has get to come off to fix this. An essential thang to remember is the bottom clips will break easily if you do not first move up the front about an inch until that time pulling it forwards. Remove the filter. Take the phillips screws out of the top where on earth the filter goes contained by so you can raise the top. Pop the spring clips and release the top subsequent. Remove the screws and lift up our the front. Get the drum out and clean the dryer. Oil adjectives the whells and idler and think twice not to get the different belt twisted. Because if it is twisted it will break. Looky at the pic posted below:
if your talking nearly the dryer then check to see if the belt broke
