Today when I drained, and then re-filled my wet heater , to flush sediment out of the reservoir, what came out be some soft, sticky, white particles . Any philosophy on what that could be ?

Answers: It's magnesium. Along with calcium surrounded by most areas.
The residue was calcium, regular !
