So my room is a normal size room. And i am wondering if when the A/C is on will my room be colder next to the door open or closed?
Answers: For nouns conditioning to work properly, you need nouns in,,,and nouns out for the cold air to circulate.
If you own both a feed and return vent surrounded by your bedroom, you are golden. Most houses are not set up this way, however.
You probably own a larger return vent somewhere toward the middle of your home. That said, you should keep your door clear for proper operation and maximum cooling.
Now if you have a vent within the wall or door to allow the air to return to the cold nouns return, you can keep your door closed.
Also, if your door have been cut to allow for a 1" or more split underneath, again it would make no difference and you can preserve the door closed.
Basically, you need the atmosphere pumped into your room to return to the return vent. Make sense?
If there is a vent surrounded by the room then the room will be cooler next to the door closed BUT with federal heating and nouns (hope I'm not wrong assuming you have it) the system works better if you hold the doors open so that the atmosphere can circulate thru the rooms. And in a roundabout (sorry no pun intended lol) breed everything cooler.
