Does oxiclean REALLY remove coffee stains??? accidently spilled coffee in a coup¨¦ a week ago :-( just discovered it...

accidently spilled coffee in a coup¨¦ a week ago :-(
just discovered it UNDER a mat today ...
I'm trying desperately to REMOVE ALL STAINAGE RIGHT NOW!
BUt using cool dampen and soap, and a towel/
hopefully will have removed most of it by the wind up of the day?
should I use a scrub brush too?
it's buoyant grey carpet.
This is truely awful/I cannot believe it.
anyway the fresh stain is removing fine, but so far not the other side {YET} --am still hopeful!!

Answers:    I don't resembling oxiclean and have have poor results with it. This almost other work for me on carpet stains, try spraying next to Lysol Tub N Tile and allowing it to sit for a few minutes and blotting it up with a verbs cloth. Repeat if necessary. Another concept is to follow the procedure above and use diluted peroxide.
