Does anyone know the approximate building costs of a commercial block building per square foot? Economy principal.
I need an estimate of building costs for a fundamental block commercial building- very key. Cement floor, about 2000 square foot, one small bathroom, drywalled with insulation, in the order of a 12 foot ceiling with a drop suspended ceiling near flourecent lighting, 2 basic entrance doors, one 5 foot pane, tile floor. Approx. price per square foot would help. I am contained by Canada- let me know if this is U.S. or Canada pricing. Please support as I need to settle on to build or not.
Also, any idea on grade and paving costs of a parking lot that is very soon just gravel and grass? The lot would be going on for 3000 square feet? How general and long must the parking spots be? Thank you.
Answers: I believe that for a commercial building, the construction costs will range between $65 and $85 Canadian a sq. foot. The average residential building is roughly speaking $ 100 a sq. ft. Cdn.
