Answers: They don't detect carbon monoxide, the method used by electronic gadgets is to method the atmosphere, and then it deduce that co is present, clever stuff! Only the electronic ones are accurate to any degree, more or less lb40, they are audible, the cardboard ones discolour anyway eventually, and will quite optimistically go black whilst you are asleep, surrounded by which case, a optical indicator is as much use as a chocolate firegaurd!
