My electric water space heater has stopped working and im lacking hot water. the overnight furnace has stopped and the constant works but a bit than store hot water contained by the tank it let it all shift through the overflow pipe and leaves cold water coming out the hot tap even when the constant is on. any ideas?
Answers: OK (a) the bottom of your hot hose tank is an 11" immersion kiln ( OFF-PEAK ) sounds like the kiln &/or the T/stat needs replacing. At the top of the container is an 11" I/heater ( ON-PEAK ) the thermostat has gone closed circuit & wants replacing. Replacing a I/heater is not really a job for the initiate DIY,r
first of all what is a constant? could not really figure out what u were writing but If u are conversation about hose down going through the overflow pipe then that may be cause by your pressure relief tap being stick sympathetic.there is a small silver switch on the top of the valve.sort sure it's not pointing up.it should be laying flat.the stopcock may need to be replaced
