Does anyone know anything in the region of an dated Sears Taste and Odor Filter System? My elderly neighbor has one of these underneath her kitchen sink...

My elderly neighbor has one of these underneath her kitchen sink on the cold water string. Her cold water pressure is NILL. Shes be dealing w it for a very long time and never know the filter was surrounded by there. I'm most sure its get some type of replaceable filter. It has a red button on the top that if i press it hose squirts out?? Any ideas?
