Do you know the best paste to fix a broken piece of plastic? I accidentally broke my gps holder.thank you!?
crazy glue
super glue
:D
Gorilla glue is your best bet there hand down. It doesn't require any mixing of glues, just for a moment water. And it is TOUGH! I've used it to glue things together that are underneath constant stress (that's why they broke!) and they're stronger than ever. Super glue wont eork especially if it's going to be on the dash of your motor in the sun. Try taking a hot glue gun and use the hot tip to certainly melt the plastic back together, features of like a welder. Good luck =]
Answers: It depends upon the type of plastic it is made of but I have made excellent structural repairs with a product call "Plastic Welder" It is an epoxy like product that comes as a sort of double syringe. You can squeeze both parts into the package it come with. A little plastic piece is also enclosed so you can mix the two parts together and apply it to the parts need repair. Like gorilla glue this glue is a crevice filler (some glues require perfectly mate parts) but it is quite a bit cheaper, around $4.00 You will have to hold the parts together for in the order of 3 minutes and then full strength is about 4 hours if I evoke correctly.
get hold of some of the glue used for model cars! you can find it with the model cars and accoutrements. they have it at hobby stores or at like walmart and stuff. its cheap, something like $2. use a "crazy glue" or "super glue" FOR PLASTICS
