Answers: i live within sydney, australia, the last one we have was final year sometime, and before that i cant remember.. so we dont enjoy it that frequently, the last one closing about 2 or 3 hrs i deem. i know someone who has them fairly frequently lately, and it has be annoying coz we dont get to chat that much anymore online. adjectives in adjectives it is a nuisance when it happen.. but then candlelit rooms are awesome and you catch to do other things like read a book or ring up those whose power is out..
I'm surrounded by San Diego county, USA and yes we have power outtages and brown outs adjectives of the time. Here we call them rolling blackouts, they are planned by our electric utility service and they announce the areas that will hold power cut offs by block numbers printed on our utility bills. Generally speaking, they occur mostly within the summer during periods of meeting usage when we have triple digit temperature and everyone's AC is humming. Last year, our area experienced 10 brown outs and 6 black outs that be planned. We also experienced a few that were cause by wires going down in large winds, transformers blowing and motor accidents. The time that the power outtages last varies, sometimes they are short 20-40 minutes and more habitually they last 3 hours or more.
