Do they get rid of piping Encasements? We have recently have to redo our water piping for our house....
We have recently have to redo our water piping for our house. We own no basement and basically no crawl space so we've have to take the piping along the walls in the house, on the floor. I be wondering if they sell some sort of encasement that I could buy to put around them so it looks alittle better cosmetically than just have pipes laying along the wall? I thought about drawing them the same color as the wall to camoflauge them but thought some sort of box around them would look better painted maybe? Any counsel would be helpful! Thank you :)
Answers: You could buy baseboard heaters without the hot hose heat elements in them at Home Depot. Put them on the wall and conceal the pipes inside. You could build boxes out of wood to cover them and paint the wood, or merely paint the pipes like you said.
Make long "L" pieces out of particleboard. Glue and air staple accordingly. Place over pipe and decorate ithe MDF baseboard moulding along frontage and ogee MDF along top of Channel where it meets the wall..Prime and paint
