i just purchased a above ground pool. not a soul likes to progress in a freezing cold pool so i am wondering if i should purchase solar rings or a solar cover. do they in fact make the river warmer?

Answers:    Yes, it does. It creates a stratum of warm wet near the top which you can mix as you swim or run the filter to mix it.

It depends on how much sun exposure they seize. Many of the solar pool covers will act as insulators, slowing roast loss, even if they don't actively heat the dampen. We quit using a solar cover and added some solar panels we found on Craigs account. Now we don't have to operation with removing and stowing the cover every time we want to enter the pool.
