I just bought a lava oil lamp and I was wondering do you remove the bottle trilby and then put the little point on top of it to close it?
Help! I lost the remote to my garage...

leave the bottle bonnet on. there is surely no reason to transport it off. it seal in the gooey. if you remove it, it will leak, spill, evaporate, etc.
