because a air conditioner have two coils a hot one and a cold one the hot one is the one you put outside your window the cool one is astern the filter.air travels over the cool one to cool you down and any fry picked up in room is transferred to the hot one outside

a/c works by removing the moisture out of the atmosphere it circulates - in return it releases the wet into a pan that allows it to drip outside, if ya take off it in the house it will drip the wet everywhere.
Answers: it defeat the purpose.. your air conditioner take the air inside your room and removes the grill. then it blows it hindmost into your room.. . the heat that it removed from your nouns needs to turn somewhere.. so it expels it through the back of the component. so if you have the component inside on the floor, then as the atmosphere gets cool it also get warmer.. cold nouns being blown out the front while hot nouns is being blown out the backbone.. and that's why the back downfall has to stick out a fanlight.. and by the way if you required to you could turn the unit put money on side in on days that it really cold to thaw out your room... because even if its 40 degrees outside, here is still much heat surrounded by that cold air.. the a/c will remove that grill and blow it into your room.. its the freon that absorbs warmness through the copper coils.. its a liquid form later takes the bake and becomes vapor form after it releases the heat and become liquid again and the cycle freshly keeps going on.
