Like the 100 pack of mini full voltage outdoor lights, if I were to connect the cease of a string to the beginning of a clean string would I have to rainproof that connection? Also the connect where on earth the light string plugs into an extension cord? Thanks within advance

Answers:    If moisture from snow and rainfall will get into the plug connections, you will trip the GFCI receptacle. For those lay on the ground, I slip each nouns into a short length (8" or so) of PVC pipe to keep them dry. The baggy ones usually don't cause me any trouble.

I'm not sure if it's prerequisite to do that or not but I usually wrap the connections with duct cartridge so they will be "water proof" and smaller quantity likely to come unplugged.
