i looked at my hot water radiator and a pipe is broken, what course of action should i steal? how do i know if there is a filter? i have no thought how long it has be broken?
Answers: First-What kind of pipe is it to be precise (Broken) is it a copper pipe or black pipe? Where does the pipe come from? Sound more to me like it is the overflow pipe. If it be a the gas pipe and you had a gas seepage you would small the gas when you first come into the home.
Does the pipe stop about 6" above the floor, if so no worries merely the over flow pipe.
first off, ring up a repair man immediately, second, if you don't smell gas, in attendance is probably no leak, and basically so you know, all marine heaters have overflow pipes mounted on the top, they would be shaped approaching a u... if thats what you see, then in that is no broken pipe.
