Is there anything you can put inside a dishwasher to fix a gash? One of our butcher knife poked a hole in the tub on the inside of our dishwasher. Maybe a type of silicone or epoxy?
Answers: Check near an applicance parts store. They did have a fluid plastic for making such repairs. Came with a cassette for the outside of the hole too, to help.
Yes, it can be done. I would be concerned roughly silicone not lasting long satisfactory and failure would anticipate a leak.
You can try using a hot-melt gum gun, or silicone sealant should hold up also, (let it dry overnight).
