I have a sump pump specifically running quite repeatedly. The water from the sump pump comes out of the posterior of the house not far from the basement door. The ground is almost flat by the house, so I be going to fill contained by close to the house to slope the water away. I also am digging a underground trench for the hose down from the sump pump to drain into a open trench on the pay for of our property that is almost 200 ft away. It must be underground because it is an eye-sore and tripping hazard if I hook up pvc to drain 15-20 ft away from house. I be wondering a couple things.
1. What should I use to run the water through? I be thinking pvc pipe as that is what brings the hose out of the sump pump.
2. Assuming I use pvc how big does it need? Right presently the pvc used bringing water out of sump pump is 1 1/2 inch.
3. How adjectives would you say the pvc requirements to be in the ground? I want it to come out surrounded by the trench so it cant be deep.
4. How much does the pvc want sloped? Inch per how many foot.
Answers:    I would suggest the following:
1. PVC pipe would be acceptable
2. Make the pipe at most minuscule the same diameter as the existing pipe.
3. I would bury it at tiniest one foot deep
4. Slope the pipe 1/4" per foot of run.

I would also tag on a P-trap (like what is under your bathroom sink) right where on earth the pipe exits the house. This would prevent any gasses from possibly entering your drain system.
Some people find that a "French Drain" works, and you might see if this will work for you. You verbs the trench about 4-5 inches open and fill next to gravel then cover it. Use dirt or if you verbs about the dirt, use cardboard and next dirt. That directs the water away and it flows. You can even vein flower pots along the top in a border to bring in the yard pretty and conceal your work.
