Did you know that you don't hold to salary huge $'s for replacement battery-operated pack (ie. 12v,18v )? Make your own! If you get on Ebay and look up Task Force 12v freestyle...
If you get on Ebay and look up Task Force 12v freestyle packs, those are selling those 10-20 times CHEAPER than the Dewalts etc. Look, all of these hold the same 'c' size Ni-Cad battery in them. You simply pinch the case apart and remove the array of battery. Then you can take a low wattage soldering iron and some solder (flux core is easier to catch to stick). Just use nyour basic adjectives sense to immitate the configuration of the pack you want to replace.
Another trick I came up beside was to appropriate a vacuum cleaner hose repair- heat shrink tubbing wrap ( Hesco inc. dot com) and put plenty batteries contained by it to equal 9.6 volts and carefully attached a Male (-) / Female (+) nouns plug. Now on my Dewalt battery charger I put the correspondingly in front of Male (+) / Female (-) plug. Then on the back of my 9.6 volt Dewalt drill I put a smaller vacuum cleaner belt looped where on earth the normal ( and expensive) OEM freestyle would plug in. This loop of strong rubber is what holds the mobile.
Answers: All good information but in attendance is really no question here.
Pain surrounded by the #$$, rather buy the battery-operated.
