A few days ago I could hear scratching and patter sounds from the bathroom wall in my house. Suddenly they dissapear and a funny smell begin. Every day the odor is worse and I am sure is nil to do with plumbing or sewer lines.
I'm pretty sure the animal died and it's smelling especially bad. Everyone told me that the smell should disappear, but I doubt it. I'm wondering if in attendance is any health hazzard from breathing these fumes? Since I could not find any hole, is here a way to solve this problem?

Answers:    Hmmmm, sounds close to a mouse or rat died in the wall cavity. the smell will disappear when it have gone through the decomposition process. there is no strength hazard from breathing these fumes; may manufacture you feel a bit seasick though. you are going to have to be forgiving, you could try peppermint oil to fur the smell as its quite strong and last a while.
Why does my wash device stop and budge...
The only instrument would be put a mask on and try to find it. Because it could bear months for the smell to leave your house. Also the radiator your house the worse the smell will be. Good luck!
