I have a room minus a mounting hole for an a/c unit. Also my window are sliding and I dont want to get the portable A/C because its too much of a hassle. I already own a Window AC unit and lately want to mount it in the hole. I would close to to know who who or what type of business I should contact to have this done. Any concept how much they might charge me?

Answers: this is a simple installation. i wouldn't get any specific contractors. i would bring back a handy man from the local paper. they will probably ask for 20-25 per hour. i lately installed on in a wall in need a hole and it took me less than a morning for the whole article.
