I recently installed a modern door on my home, that has a limp bolt and regular door knob assembly on the new door. I am trying to install a hot storm door, but the door knob assembly on the storm door and the dead bolt assembly on the bright door are clashing and will not let the storm door close. I know this is not a contemporary problem, so would someone give me a solution?

Answers:    You will want to move the storm door latch hardware to a location that dosent interfere with common operation.
Plumbing problem?
certain storm doors are set up to be a RH or LH swing. If its clashing swap the door to swing the other bearing, isnt always the most appealing point to do but will usually work, because the hardware will be at the opposite side of door hardware.
