I had a Trane XR60 Furnace installed 2 years ago but elected (unwisely) not to own a new compressor installed. (Paid $3K) The compressor is a 2 ton and it is around 10 years old. It is simply not doing its charge and I have have several people share me it needs to be replaced near a large part. Does anyone have any perception how must this is going to cost me?
