My roommates and I live in a duplex and we are trying to find cost impressive ways to heat our home. And suggestions?
Will buying a small space stove for each bedroom, while keeping the thermastat sour help?
What costs more, turning the thermastat on or allowing it to stay on too long?
Answers: i bought a couple of those huge flat panel electric space heaters at wal-mart and they really help. as far as the thermostat, i'm trying something unusual this year and so far it seems to be working. i enjoy gas heat. when i gain home after work i turn the thermostat up to 90 and leave it on for NO MORE than 2 hours, afterwards turn it off and depart from it off for the rest of the dark. i live in a 2 bedroom apt. so it warm up and stays warm. it heat the apt. enuff that i dont have to run it adjectives night. if you hold gas heat, disappearing it set to 65 or even 60 thru the winter, your bill will be ridiculous. electricity is cheaper than gas.
