Condensation on the window? we endeavour to keep condensation contained by our home to a minimum...
we endeavour to keep condensation contained by our home to a minimum because we suffer so badly near it .....we are a large familial living in slightly a small house so obviously wetness in the winter months is a big issue! Apart from slit windows during the hours of daylight and running a dehumidifer during the night in that isnt much else we can do .The problem is, if we were to set off the house empty for a week or so, I am sure, as a neighbour found out lately , that upon return the house and windows will be mushy ridden ....my question is .is in attendance a substance you can leave arround the house such as saline or other chrystals to collect the moisture for me
If exit the windows and running a dehumidifier still does not do the trick, I'd invest surrounded by a better dehumidifier; find one that has a sizeable capacity bin for when you walk on extended trips. The Damp Rid can be useful too will single take out rather of the moisture in the upper air (only up to the size of the container), whereas large dimensions dehumidifiers can get rid of gallons. Also, it might be worth investigating why here is so much moisture in the house. Do you hold a basement? Is within a sump pump? You might want to look into a humidistat; it controls the humidity in the home and it's virtually care-free.
within is a product out there call 'Damp Rid'
it is basically a big case of silica that absorbs moisture
dont tolerate the kids or animals eat it
Answers: Saltine Crackers! like surrounded by the sugar jar.
Condensation is caused when the heat meets the dewpoint causeing the dampen molecules to condense. So keep your house cooler, or crack the window. maybe point a small disciple at the windows. where on earth do you live that there is so much river in the upper air. You could also try thoes plastic window covers that you shrink next to a blowdryer in the winter months, it will release your heating bill too
