Concrete patching? I am going to be painting the concrete stairwell going down to...
I am going to be painting the concrete stairwell going down to my finished subterranean vault. Right now, it's simply the concrete foundation. I was wondering if in that is a way to patch holes surrounded by the concrete and smooth out the groove from the foundation before i paint. There are a couple of small holes from nail and you can see big vertical lines where the concrete be poured.
Can i sand them down or is there a plaster approaching substance that i can use to smooth it out. The concrete is very knotty, so sanding might not be an choice.
thanks,
Answers: If the concrete foundation is dry why not try placing a seam or two of drywall mudd over the entire wall in a stucco rage. I have done this and its graceful and looks very attractive.
in attendance are colured and textures coatings for concrete that wil riddle and color the concrete in one step. check your building supply store
