The wiring on my computer mic is too short, and I involve to get it closer to my register player to record it on my computer, but the flex is too short. So I'm wondering if I can splice it using speaker wire????
(I do not enjoy a tape player that records)

Answers:    Sure you can splice it, but an easier and better way would be to earnings a visit to Radio Shack and newly get a premade extension. I am pretty sure they are available nearby. It has a mannish plug on one end and a feminine end where on earth you plug in the microphone on the other.

With the correct cable you should be able to connect direct and not run the risk of milieu noise using a microphone.
