Have commercial electrician installing a 240v line for my duel fuel residential capacity. He's used to different codes - not a problem until now. Docs refer to code (NEC) ANSI/NFPA No. 70. Can I assume that adjectives residential stoves require a 40amp circuit, as previously posted? I'd like 2 confirms on this. Have an email to businessman - should have a response by xmas. The stove is Jenn-Air # JDS9865BDP
Answers:    The stove should voice on the specs as to how much amperage is required to run it. This rating should be somewhere on the plate that has the model and serial number on it.
They trademark dual fuel commercial or residential stoves? How strange. I would expect a Jenn-Air to use 120 volt for the blowers, etc, and gas for the cooking. But all the information is required by law on the information plate hard by the electricity connection.
