When I turn on cold tap with alacrity - there's a loud clunk and no water. When Iturn it on slowly - it squeaks but in that is water.
I've told it's a problem near a "bullet". The taps are simply 6 months old. What's the problem and can I fix it short forking out for a plumber?
you probably want new inards which are the things inside the slap you can buy these cheap in B&Q and do it yourself righteous luck

Answers:    Cheap taps and wet pressure too high, fruitless combination!
It's the pullover inside the tap . That's the piece the washer is on. It is probably sticking . Take it out clean the chairs and make sure it can move freely. Plumbers use a re places tool.
