My closet doors smell like poop...strange I know, but explicitly the only point I can compare it to. I have cleaned them over and over again next to cleaning products and also with febreeze. NOTHING is working. Are these doors saveable or are the trash? There is zilch on them to make them smell close to this, so I'm thinking that it is the wood itself...it's an old house. Do you expect that a new seam of paint will help? We don't own the place and I am not buying hot doors. It just doesn't consistency right without the doors up though...Ugh! Any design on what it is or what to do would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Answers:    Try sealing them next to a clear sealant you can roll on. Start with one, make tracks it open to dry, and see if it still stinks. And, why not bring your innkeeper over and have him or her hold a sniff?
