Children sprayed clorox onto the tv and cable box. Anyone had this problem and know how to fix it?
if you caught it briskly enough and cleaned it adjectives up it should be ok. after the tv is on for a while it should dry everything out. the chlorine as a chemical won,t harm anything, simply maybe bleach it somewhat. you should be ok.
I enjoy; and I just wipe it off. I praised my child for helping me verbs it needed it.
Seriously I don't see how anyone could possibly answer this correctly.
So a child sprayed the TV and cable box? AND??
Please give some more information so that we can administer you the best possible answers and or recommendations.
Not man rude but did the TV stop working, did the child get sick, did the cat pee on the floor?
As you can see the press can be interpreted into anything because the question be too vague.
Answers: Clorox is an electrical conductor, although not a extraordinarily good one, so I recommend getting as much of it out of your electronics as possible and allow any circuit boards and other electronic components to dry completely since turning the TV on. A hair dryer would oblige.
A recent example: my wife spilled diet Coke on her $ 1000 sewing machine. A circuit board be ruined and it cost her $ 466 to get it repaired.
