The curb at the end of my driveway is cracked and in peices. This cause a problem for me because when it rains all the wet flows onto my driveway (which is gravel and dirt) and creates a big mud puddle. We drive through the puddle and it turns into a hole. The hole then (when it rains) turns into a lake from the rainfall water running down the gutter in the street. What should I do roughly speaking this?

Answers:    Document, document, document! Take pictures of the scenarios you described, and keep calling the city office till you can get someone out there to look at it next to you, and get any promises in writing, including a timetable.

City govt. can be slow, but save bugging every possible dept. or person who might be able to do something, adjectives the way up to the city council or the mayor if necessary a short time ago to make someone listen. Be the squeaky wheel till something is done.
