Christmas tree lights.....gone down? I've 5 sets 3 of which work the other 2 don't...what checks...
I've 5 sets 3 of which work the other 2 don't...what checks can I do to get them working again.....1 set, partly the lights came on
Answers: you could procure a bulb tester and try each bulb to cause sure if it was working.
But really the clean sets are so cheap nowadays it is only just worth the effort. Finding the replacement bulbs are a nightmare .There are thousands of different ones.

When I be 12. I was almost electrocuted whilst trying to repair Christmas lights. I be only save by my brother running into the room and putting the power off , I still own the scars on my mitt where the live chain burnt into me... I be so close to death and be very well thought-out of electricity after that.
Ps. I later trained as an electrician and worked next to electricity (safely) until retirement.
