do you tackle home improvement/repair projects yourself because you approaching to or because you can't find a qualified and/or affordable craftsperson?
Answers: A little of both. We truly enjoy not just doing home improvement projects and study how to do it right. Often, we hire professionals for more complicated jobs. Hubby can do rough and ready wiring but we hired an electrician to put within the 220 line for our spa because our code required it be installed by a licensed professional. Same entry for the hot water furnace and the water softener. But, most of the time we are much more detail orient and pay attention to the small things that oodles contractors over look. And, it sure is fun and fulfilling to see the project through to completion and say, wow, I designed and constructed that!
We do most of it ourselves as my Hubby is a jack of adjectives trades.
