I've just moved home and the interior heating system have a mind of its own. The boiler is only a year hoary but the rest of it is dated. When i switch central heat on, it doesn't come on. When i put hot water on, it works but inside heating comes on too. once the hot hose down is heated up, central heat goes bad! also, temp controls on the radiators dont work, and i dont know how to control the temp of the water. gonna carry a plumber out, but any ideas what could be wrong???
Answers: Probably a electric wiring mistake when boiler was changed. I am assuming u own a conventional boiler and a 3 port diverter valve. sea temp is controlled by cylinder stat. The trvs on rads can give bother . A right plummer will sort it out as i think its minor problems.
Maybe furring surrounded by the pipes and radiators, or air within the system. Open and close all the bleed valve one by one and check the thermostat.
