Central A/C query? Hello, My house is 2 stories and we have central nouns and heat....
Hello,
My house is 2 stories and we have central nouns and heat. But in my son's bedroom the vent not quite blows air or heat. My daughter's room is right subsequent door and hers blows pretty hard. They are both on the 2nd floor.
Does anyone know what might cause this?
there's a way you can fix it in the underground store that will make it even and i know that it's not too hard.
my dad does it, but i'm not sure how.
sorry.
Well without looking at it I will just hold to guess what it could be there are a couple things that could be happening. If the rooms are split stale of one duct run then her, being the closest, will gain more air than his room will. Try this. Close her vent halfway and see if it make his blow any harder. There are usally balance's put in the duct work if you can find which one runs to his room, usally located in the prime run, where the furnace hooks up to, then you can adjust the set off. You also want to keep the doors open for proper nouns return. Good luck hope this helped most of the time is the vent ( we call them the run) explicitly at the end or near finish of the main trunk does not get satisfactory flow to that run.or the installer has installed dampers and hers needs to be closed alittle and his open..when u get to the end of a trunk flash u need to stay back from the stop of it about 2+ feet, this keep ur "back presure" right..have a hvac tech check adjectives the above..

Answers: im am sarah's husband the rooms own seperate ducts, i cleaned the duct, pulled it off the rectangular thing within the attic and noticed the pressure is low there also, the pressure is run of the mill everywhere else, thanks in finance for help, im thinking of closing the low pressure room from the attic and branching off the room w glorious pressure, you can feel the cold air from 7 foot of the vent in the room with illustrious pressure
