In the house move I have lost two ceiling lantern fittings. The type that screw on to the ceiling then the muted fitting fits snug around it and usually is held on by 2 screws that screw into this holder.
1. What is the darn article called?
2. Where could I go and get some from.
They are usually 2/3/4 inches long and each shutting is bent upright by around an inch and has a screw hole at respectively end.
Answers: It's call a ceiling rose or a baton holder, the ceiling rose as a cord in the order of three inch's long with the wishy-washy holder on the end of it, near the baton holder the feathery fitting is part of the stick holder.
