I have a Maytag fridge, and soon it just stopped cooling. The lone problem that I see is that the compressor just keep clicking every 5-10 minutes. The fan turns and the lights work and we enjoy throughly cleaned the entire fridge and vaccummed the back of the fridge. About a year and a partially ago the compressor was replaced when the fridge be not performing well.
Answers:    Sometimes you can hear a click-buzz-click nouns coming from the compressor. This is the relay/overload at work. If you hear this, power is getting to the compressor. If you do, something is wrong with any the compressor or the compressor starting components. If you have a newer model beside solid-state starting components, you may not hear anything at all. If here is power to the starting components, you may be able to try-out each cog and replace any bad parts. There is also a 3-in-1 element that may work on your model which replaces all the components surrounded by one unit. If the compressor still wonĄŻt start, you enjoy a bad compressor and call for to replace it. If it does start, wire the 3-in-1 module in forever. Make sure the one you buy is rated for the horsepower of your appliance.

Could be a discouraging temperature (cold) control. Could be a desperate relay. Could be a bad compressor. Sorry to not be much assistance, but it could be several things.
